Please give this place a try despite that there's usually no crowd here and leans pricy for Indian food.
Because this place is incredibly and unbelievably good.
Their garlic naan is the best I've had yet. ACTUALLY flavorful and full of hints of garlic. Toasty and crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside.
Lamb Korma (cashew cream sauce) is also one of the best curry I've ever had. The lamb was well spiced and cooked to a soft, tender stage. The curry was smooth and pleasant to all senses, with tiny bits of cashew bits in it.
Kheer was really refreshing and not overwhelming sweet.
Server was friendly. Ok. Please visit. -

I ordered from here via skip the dishes. My order came fast which is a plus. I ordered 1 lamb curry mild and 1beef curry mild and 2 orders of garlic naan. The naan was good the curry came in tiny containers that weren't even filled. I paid $16 for the lamb curry and $15 for the beef curry. Now none of these came with rice either. Rice is an extra $4 per portion!! The lamb curry was way to greasy we could eat it and the beef was mediocre in taste. I know we ordered my mild but it had no flavour. Very disappointed that I paid with tip and everything $50 for a meal we didn't eat.

I used to eat here 4 years ago...their food was great don't get me wrong specially the Biryani dishes. However, I noticed they are serving old pre-made dishes these days...very noticeable since the rice is too dry and not as hot as it should be..as a Persian, whom main dishes is always rice, I can easily tell when the rice is heated up and is not fresh. That's really disappointing...I rather wait 20 minutes extra for my good and have it fresh than eating leftover or old food.
Please get back to your old standard, your food was awesome, just don't get lazy and lowering your standards.
The one star is to get your attention, you were 10 stars worth in the past. -

UPDATE FEBRUARY 2019: tried this place again because we were in the area craving some indian cuisine. i was hoping my last bad experience was just a bad day. but i was wrong. the same male server who was rude to my grandma and i last time was working but there was also a female employee working. the female served us for most of our visit and was just plain rude to us. and very panicked? for lack of a better word. she basically threw a pitcher of water on our table and every time she'd come to our table we'd say thanks and she'd just ignore us. the food was fine (nothing to spectacular though) but the service here has really gone down hill. what happened to the servers you had about 1-2 years ago? they were very nice and always made me and my parties feel welcomed in the restaurant. now i feel rushed and uncomfortable.

i had had high hopes for this joint due to a recommendation from a close friend. when my small party and i arrived, we were greeted curtly (if at all), and invited to sit down. immediately, one member of my party noticed there was some shattered glass on the table. we nicely pointed it out to the waitress and she seemed to be put out. it wasn't a big problem, but we of course just wanted to let them know so nobody cut themselves! later, one member of my party was glancing around the restaurant, taking in the christmas themed decor, and the waitress rushed over and somewhat rudely asked if we wanted anything from her. my friend ordered a drink and was given it promptly. after we had some samosas, we placed our dirtied cutlery on the plate only to have the waitress order us to keep it, as we would need it to eat our meal with. i have no problem with recycling dishes as it is of course a a great way to cut back on water usage. but this is not a regular occurrence at restaurants for me, and she was somewhat snappy when she told us, as if it was plainly obvious. we also ordered two curries, and they were quite bland, not at all what you would desire when you are craving tasty indian food. we all agreed the food was passable but not by any means incredible. i could throw a curry together at home that i would enjoy much more, and not have to cough up $12 for. the music kept glitching and getting loud and then quiet. the service was inattentive at most times, and often felt offhandedly rude. none of us were particularly comfortable during our visit. i would not return for this mediocre and often times stressful experience.
